Anyone have the Autel Evo Nano? How is it?
I got one. As long as you’re not on a tight budget, the 250g drone is far superior to the Mini 2, Mini 3, and Mini 4. Because of the bigger sensors, the photographs and movies are just stunning. No geofencing is a game changer.
The flight qualities are little inferior to DJI, but who cares? We’re not racing these things, they’re not FPVs, and it takes less than two minutes to adjust to the controls and perform practically any in-flight maneuver, like as dive bombing, panning, and so on, much like a DJI.
Don’t be fooled by the overwhelming number of DJI fanboys. The Nano+ is the top sub-250 drone. If you are able to afford it.
It’s okay, but it’s rather expensive. I’d say no better than a DJI mini 4 or 3, simply purchase a Dji mini that does the same thing for less money. And more user-friendly
I use an Evo 2 Pro V3 RTK all the time and really enjoy it. The drone performs admirably in mapping tasks and flies nicely when using RTK. I love the clever controller. They’ve been rolling out upgrades that occasionally improve things. I wish it had terrain follow and SRTM, but it doesn’t. The customer service has been helpful, however I had a difficult time enrolling Autel Care when I initially received mine since they screwed up the ID in their system or whatever. I’m simply scared that they’ll be banned alongside DJI, which is why I chose this over a Mavic 3E. I’d buy another Autel if we needed one, depending on how this legislation unfolds.
