Both have their pros and cons. DJI is better for ease of use and minimal setup, while non-DJI setups give more freedom but require more effort. It depends on what you’re looking for.

I never really thought about the ‘ready to fly’ aspect. DJI definitely makes FPV easier to get into.

My plan is to start with the Avata 2 since it includes the Goggles 3. Later, when I’m ready to tinker, I’ll get an O3 or O4 Air Kit for a DIY setup. Having the goggles already saves me a big expense.

That’s smart, but remember you’ll still be tied to DJI parts. That said, their goggles are the best digital ones on the market.
