Best affordable beginner drone under $100?

Hello, I’m a teen interested in learning how to fly a drone. I have a budget of $100 and am looking for a sturdy drone with decent battery life and a camera. Ideally, I’d like it to be available on Amazon and to have an easy-to-use app. If you have any recommendations, I’d really appreciate it!

Under $100, you’re not going to find anything super reliable, especially with a good camera. It might be worth saving a bit more if you want a quality experience.

You’re right. The DJI Tello used to be decent but costs more now.

If you really want to learn to fly, try a toy-grade drone without GPS or altitude hold. I’d suggest something like the Syma X5C. It’s affordable and simple, and you’ll get good practice. Once you master that, you could think about upgrading.

Thanks! I actually have one but the battery isn’t charging anymore.

Honestly, there are a lot of cheap drones from China under $100, but they’re more like toys than actual drones. If you’re willing to spend a bit more, you’ll get much better performance.

Try a basic toy drone to learn the controls first. Once you get the hang of it, save up for something like the DJI Mini 2 SE.

Just save up for a quality drone. Trust me, it’ll be worth it in the long run.
