Best drone for newbie?

My mom wants to get my stepdad a drone for Christmas.

He’s never flown a drone before.

The budget isn’t exactly unlimited, but it should be plenty high enough for most options.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

I’d recommend starting with a beginner-friendly drone like the DJI Mini 2 or the Holy Stone HS100D. They’re both easy to fly, reasonably priced, and offer good features for beginners.

For beginners, the DJI Mini SE stands out for its ease of use, quality, and affordability.

The DJI Mavic Mini is another excellent choice, offering more advanced features within a reasonable budget.

Both are great for first-time flyers and come from a reputable brand.

The DJI Mini 2 is the best drone for beginners. It’s user-friendly, lightweight, and offers 4K video capabilities, a 31-minute flight time, and stable flight performance. Ideal for new pilots learning the ropes.

While the Stealth Bird 4K might be a good budget option, the Mavic Mini likely offers more advanced features. It’s always a balance between price and functionality when choosing a drone.
