Bought a not working Mavic Pro… an hour later it’s flying

It’s been the same for me. Bought it in 2016, and it’s been worth every penny. Enjoy flying it!

I upgraded to a Mini because carrying the Mavic was a hassle when traveling. But I still think the Mavic Pro was worth it, even with its shorter battery life.

That’s a classic drone for sure.

I broke my Mini 2 SE camera (gimbal stuck and shaky footage). Should I try replacing the camera myself or just buy a new drone?

If you’ve got the patience and can source the part, go for it. Worst-case, it’s already broken, right? If you fix it, you’ll feel great about it.

With all the issues DJI has with customs, older drones are going to become more valuable. I’m keeping mine.

I need to mess with the developer mode in DJI assistant!

Make sure to find version 1.2. Later versions removed the access, and be careful! Changing certain settings could make your drone dangerous to fly.

Why not just buy a Mini 3? It’s better in every way and comes with a working battery and remote.

The Mini 3 isn’t the same price, and it doesn’t have D-log from what I’ve read. I already have a small drone, so this works perfectly for me.
