I want to take my drone on a plane in the U.S. Got three batteries with it. Will they let me bring it, or am I gonna have problems?
Yeah, but you can’t fly it mid-air, obviously.

Technically, it’s indoors.

Lol, this forum moment.

Wait, what? I was gonna launch it from the window for the craziest TikTok ever.

Is there an actual rule against this?

Not even to send a drink request to the flight attendant?

No way this is a real question.
Yep. Just keep the lithium batteries in your carry-on.
I’ve taken my Mavic 4P before. Just pack it in your backpack and keep the batteries in your carry-on. TSA sees drones all the time, just like laptops.

Where’d you get your Mavic 4P? I got mine from Costco, but it didn’t come with a case.
@Lennon
I think the case only comes with the Fly More bundle.
Carry it on and try to get a hard case if you can.
Yeah, carry-on only. Don’t check it in.
I just flew with my Mavic 3 last week. Keep it in your carry-on, and when you go through security, take it out like you would with a laptop so they don’t have to rescan your bag.
Why wouldn’t they allow it?
I’ve flown all over the U.S. with my Mavic 3 and two batteries, no problems at all.
If you’re flying international, check the rules. Some countries will make you pay a fee or even confiscate it.
Show it to the pilot and tell them you’re a drone pilot too. They’ll totally be impressed.
