Hey everyone… I’m planning a trip to Florence and I’m bringing my DJI Neo with me. I’ve got insurance and I’ve already paid the required fees.
I checked on DFlight and it looks like flying is allowed there, but with some height limits. Has anyone flown near the Duomo or over the buildings? Is that actually allowed?

If DFlight says it’s okay and you stick to the rules, then you should be fine.
The no-fly zone over Florence was removed in 2024, so it should be alright now.
Not exactly… you still need to follow the main rules. You can’t fly over crowds, gatherings of people, or within 50 meters of homes and places where people live.
And the app itself says to check with the local authorities first — local rules might override what DFlight shows.
