Can I submit a request through DroneZone to fly at 100 ft or below in Class D airspace for up to a year? I would only be flying on select days for about 10-20 minutes while following all safety guidelines. I’m applying as a recreational user.
No, you need to be Part 107. Are you trying to fly below the established grid?

You don’t need to be Part 107 to get clearance below the grid in non-LAANC areas. Recreational users can request it through DroneZone too.
@Blane
That’s right—waivers are the only thing they can’t get. Thanks for clarifying.
My local Class D airport has a form you need to fill out to request permission. You might want to check with the airport in your area first.
If LAANC is available in that area, you should use that. If not, submit an authorization request through DroneZone.
Are you trying to fly in an area where LAANC isn’t available?
