Edit: Just remembered to mention it’s mobile-only for now!
For Christmas, I made a project called Drone Guardian (canidrone.com). It’s a free, no-ads site that:
Checks weather conditions in real-time for your location
Compares wind speeds to your drone’s limits
Tells you if it’s safe to fly using simple visuals
Has a detailed pre-flight safety checklist
I came up with the idea after I got my Mini 3 and spent hours trying to figure out the safest way to fly it. I thought there had to be an easier way, so I built this!
It’s still the first version (built in 48 hours), so I’d love any feedback to improve it. Right now, the weather API is pretty basic because of cost, but with enough support, I can upgrade to better weather data for more accurate results.
And about the support button—please don’t feel pressured to use it. This is just my way of giving back to the community. If I get a better job, I’ll cover the premium API myself.

It’s missing drones like the Enterprise series (M3E, M3T, M2ED, M2EA). I like the concept, though. The app doesn’t work for me at the moment.
Thanks for letting me know! I’ll add those models soon.
@Landry
I tried typing Punta Cana, Madrid, and London, but nothing happens when I hit Search. No request shows in the network tab either. You might want to add something like Google Maps autocomplete—nobody’s going to type out exact spellings.
