So no drones are allowed in the Dolomites?
This spot pops up on Forum every now and then. Last time it was posted, people said it’s not forbidden, but the wind currents are really dangerous for drones, especially in the mountains.
Also, most of the drones crashing there are the DJI Minis. The bigger problem is that once these drones crash, their owners leave them behind, which is hazardous for the environment.

Sounds hard to believe.
I was there. Drones aren’t allowed because it’s a national park, but a lot of people were still flying them. No one was enforcing the rules: https://imgur.com/a/NsZH2yP

Pretty much all European national parks ban drones.
That’s not true. In Nordic and Baltic countries, not all parks have bans. Maybe the busy ones in western Europe do, but it’s not as widespread as people think.

Exactly, some parks have restrictions, but it’s not an outright ban. You just have to follow the local laws. It’s not like you can’t do anything in national parks. In some, you can even log trees.
