Customs sent my drone back… anyone know why?

Hey everyone,

Anyone know why my drone didn’t clear customs? Is it because of tariffs, or did I just get unlucky?

I reached out to DJI, but they didn’t have an answer. They did send me a replacement, though, so I’m hoping this one makes it through. Fingers crossed!

Anyone else run into this?

Yeah, happened to me too. Tried twice, both times it got sent back. I’m giving up at this point :frowning:

Noooo, that sucks! Now I’m not gonna get my hopes up too much.

When I talked to DJI support, they said it depends a lot on the drone. Apparently, the more expensive ones like the Mini 4 and Air have a higher chance of getting held up.

Same thing happened to me. Still waiting on my ‘other one’ too.

Dang, sorry to hear that. If this one doesn’t make it through, I have no idea what to do. I’ve been checking every Best Buy near me for the same Air 3 package, but no luck. So frustrating.

@Koa
I ordered my Avata 2 from this site, and it came super fast from the U.S.:

Sucks that we can’t just buy straight from DJI anymore because of these customs issues. My last two drones took forever to track down on different websites, some of which seemed kinda sketchy. A year ago, this wasn’t even a problem.

@Weston
Agreed. Adorama is legit. Got my Mini 4K in three days from New York.

@Weston
Appreciate the tip! I’ll check it out.

@Koa
B&H Photo is another solid option. Based in New York, and they usually have a huge stock.
