Did I just break the law flying my drone?

I have a Holy Stone HS360S. Do I need a license for it, or am I fine?

Alright, everyone—I passed the TRUST test and got my ID!

Nice! Just be careful around people, and happy flying. Print out the certificate and keep it with you!

In the U.S., you need to take the TRUST test at minimum. Not sure how much that drone weighs, but if it’s under 250g, TRUST should be enough.

I mean, I can’t legally take it yet. I’m using my friend’s computer, and she let me post here.

I had no idea! If someone can send me the test link, I’ll take it right now.

@Huxley
Dude, just Google it.

No minimum age to take the TRUST test in the U.S. You need it, and you should always carry the certificate when you fly. Keep a backup copy too.

I took mine at this site, but there are other options. It’s super easy—just read some slides, answer questions, and if you get one wrong, they tell you and let you fix it.

From what I found, the HS360S weighs under 250g, so you don’t need to register it with the FAA. If you want to, it’s only $5. Good luck, and good question!

If you’re asking on this forum… is it already too late? :joy:
