I’m considering getting the DJI Avata and was curious about its max speed. How fast can this thing actually go? Any firsthand experiences or cool speed-related stories would be awesome to hear!

The DJI Avata is quite the speedster! In Normal Mode, it can reach speeds of up to 17.8 mph (28.8 km/h).
If you’re looking for a bit more thrill, Sport Mode boosts that to 31.3 mph (50.4 km/h).
But the real excitement comes in Manual Mode, where it can hit a top speed of 60.3 mph (97.2 km/h).
I’ve heard some amazing stories from drone enthusiasts who love pushing the Avata to its limits in Manual Mode, especially for capturing high-speed action shots or racing through obstacle courses.

When in manual mode, the DJI Avata can reach a top speed of around 27 meters per second 60.4 mph. This is its fastest option. Its maximum speed in Normal mode is about 8 meters per second 17.9 mph.
