DJI has just launched the new DJI Flip (DJI RC-N3). Initial reports suggest it’s a compact camera drone aimed at casual users rather than an all-in-one FPV model.
Ordered the Fly More combo. Hoping it arrives soon, though demand might slow delivery. I already have the Mini 2, Mini 4K, and Neo—if the Flip is good, I might sell some of them.

How do the Mini 2 and Mini 4K compare?
@Blake
They’re pretty similar. I crashed my first Mini 2 after 4 years and bought a used one. While waiting for delivery, I found a Mini 4K in-store and grabbed it. Haven’t flown either much due to weather, but I plan to sell the Mini 4K. There are minor spec differences, but both are solid. Also, I have a Neo, which is fun but struggles in strong winds. Hoping the Flip performs well.
The YouTube reviewers already have their hands on it! DJI likely sent out samples under non-disclosure agreements.

One minor letdown is that it’s not an all-in-one FPV drone like the Neo. The Flip is focused on camera capabilities rather than FPV-style flying.
It reminds me of the Snap Pixy, except DJI didn’t make a disaster out of it.
For reference, Snapchat’s drone failed because of overheating and reliability issues, leading the company to abandon it. DJI’s engineering definitely puts them ahead in the consumer drone space.
