I noticed when I bought my Mini 4 Pro fly more plus I was charged EXACTLY $1159, but now their website adds sales tax to all orders, even for Refresh. Too bad.
I still remember when eBay was tax free

I do. In fact all Internet sales didn’t collect taxes at that time.
But that message specifically says your state. So. I wonder if all states are doing this?
It’s not up to DJI, people realize this right?

Just pointing out that I ordered a drone a month ago with no tax added, and now they’ve added it. Take it as you will.

Gotcha, just thought I’d add some context. It is illegal to collect tax unlawfully, I am surprised they never collected it before as it is rather easy for a large company like them to obtain sales tax nexus. In many states it only takes 100 transactions or $100,000 gross sales (most often calculated over 12 months) to then require the company to remit and collect sales tax. Furthermore, if they are selling on Amazon or other marketplaces it becomes even easier to reach nexus under the marketplace facilitator tax laws.
