Hey everyone,
I just got my DJI Mavic 3 Pro from Amazon, but the camera screen is completely black. The drone connects fine, and takeoff is permitted—just no image from the camera.
Is this something simple to fix, or should I return it?

LOL, check your shutter settings—you’re probably on ISO Auto with a 1/8000 shutter speed.

Wait… ISO 0 is a thing?

It’s just Auto ISO, but the icon is really hard to spot.
@Soren
Ahhh, that makes sense. Weird way to label it.

Wild how people drop thousands on gear without reading the manual.

LMAO, I was freaking out. Thank you for catching that!

Happens to the best of us. I’ve panicked over the same thing more than once!
Did you install all the firmware updates?

Yeah, everything is up-to-date.

Try switching the camera mode from Pro to Auto and see if that brings the feed back.
1/8000 shutter in a dark room… that’ll definitely give you a black screen.
Also, don’t ever fly that drone indoors. It’s not built for it, and the sensors don’t handle indoor environments well. I wouldn’t even power it up inside unless you’re absolutely sure what you’re doing.
