I purchased a one-year Care Refresh plan for my Mini 3 from an official reseller store, but in my excitement to fly, I didn’t activate it, mistakenly thinking that buying it automatically activated the plan. My question is: if they don’t refund me for the care plan, can I sell the unactivated Care Refresh to someone else? The message on the screen said, ‘your aircraft has been activated longer than 48 hours and cannot be linked’ (or something like that). I have all the receipts, emails, and screenshots of my one-year DJI Mini 3 Care Refresh plan. Thanks for any advice!
If you reach out to DJI Support, they’ll likely request a video of your drone flying to confirm it’s in good shape, and then they might let you activate it.

Thanks, I’ll check this out. The drone is in great shape since I just bought it last week.
@Keir
I purchased a refurbished Avata 2 that was already bound. I activated it on my account by contacting support, and they asked for a video showing my Avata 2’s goggles and no errors. I sent the video and activated Care Refresh within 5 minutes. (I didn’t need to submit a video of the drone itself.) This was around 3 weeks ago.

Great to hear! I should be able to do something similar.

Update: I submitted information today via a webform with two pictures to the local reseller who will send it to Shenzhen. They said this process takes 2-5 days, so I’m relieved!

Have you tried contacting DJI support? If your drone is still in good working order, they might let you activate it after you prove it.

Thanks! It’s after hours here, so I’ll contact them in the morning. I bought it within 48 hours (last week), so I hope the process goes smoothly. The drone is in top shape.

Just go to the DJI webpage, head to customer support, and you’ll find the section for activating Care Refresh after the 48-hour period. I did it after my drone was activated for almost 4 months. All I had to do was submit a video showing some simple steps. Then I uploaded it to the link they provided—incredibly easy and fast!
@Peyton
Thanks! I’m still figuring out how to use the RC functions since I’m new to this, but I believe I’ll sort it out soon.

You could also try the chat function on the DJI page. I used it when I was having trouble activating Care Refresh before the 48-hour limit, and they responded almost immediately.
