DJI just released the Osmo Mobile 7 and 7P. What do you guys think? Is it actually an upgrade or just another minor refresh?
They should stop making these and just push people towards an Osmo Pocket instead. Feels like a better deal in the long run.

Yeah, but these are fun to have and super easy to use, especially for casual stuff like family videos.
I’m guessing it’s still locked to 30fps in 4K on most Android phones? Mimo always seems to have that issue. Looks solid though.

The 7P should fix that since it lets you use your phone’s native camera app with the multifunction module.
Right now, it seems like Android users should go for the 7P, while iPhone users might be better off with the Insta360 Flow 2 Pro because of DockKit support.
If the multifunction module worked with the Mic 2 and Mini, I might even be willing to lose DockKit for it.
Hoping to see some good comparison reviews soon!
@Flynn
I just hope the multifunction module works with the OM6. The OM7 has some nice new features, but that external module seems to be the biggest upgrade.
No DockKit support for Apple is a bummer, but for the price, it’s still a solid option. I’ll probably grab one later.
I still think the Insta360 Flow 2 Pro is the better buy. More features and better for long-term use. DJI is getting closer, though.
Still the same weird axis design? Yeah, I’ll pass.
They really copied the Insta360 Flow 2 design. Zero originality.
