Got my DJI Power 1000 delivered this weekend. I mean, it’s just a battery, but it’s pretty damn cool. Looking forward to years of use with it!

I didn’t really need it either, but at this price, why not? Never know when it’ll come in handy.

You know those portable power banks for your phone? This is like that but on steroids. It can push up to 1100W per outlet or 140W through each USB-C port. I plugged my entire workstation into it—two 20” monitors, two laptops, phone chargers, and a lamp—and it ran for over 6 hours with 40% battery left.

Nah, actually from 15% it fully charged in about 90 minutes. Crazy fast.
I wish I could justify buying one just because they’re awesome. I don’t have a Part 107 and don’t even fly enough to need it… yet. But I still want one so bad.

Same reason I bought it. Haha.
Just got one too for my truck during SAR calls. I’ve got 7 battery sets for my M3T and 3 sets for my M30T, and my truck can’t charge them properly. This can at least keep the power pack topped off while I drive. The M30T put in a lot of work during the recent storms and flooding, but I was always worried about running out of juice on scene.

I’ve been testing mine all day running my full workstation, and I’m still only at 30%!

Haven’t tested it yet, but I’m planning to drain my batteries to 50% and see how it does soon.

Let me know how it goes. We’ve got three sets of batteries but no field charging solution yet.
The carrying bag for it is great. Makes it easier to lug around and keeps it protected. I couldn’t justify the cost since I wouldn’t use it often, so I went with a cheaper Anker power station.

Yeah, the bag is a nice touch. I got a deal on Amazon—$499 with the bag included, which normally costs $100. So it’s kinda like getting the Power 1000 for $399 and then picking up the bag separately.
