Do I need to create mission in godrone app to fly my drone in the Netherlands?

I received my RDW certification for the A1–A3 open category. I also obtained the operator number. For recreational drone flying, do I need to set a task on the godrone app? (My drone is classified as a legacy drone because it weighs 756 and is in category A3.)

For recreational drone flying in the Netherlands, you do not need to create a mission in the GoDrone app. The GoDrone app is primarily used to provide airspace safety information and help you understand where and how you can fly your drone safely.

Since you have your RDW certification and operator number, you should be good to go for recreational flying. Just make sure to check the GoDrone app for any airspace restrictions or ground hazards in the area where you plan to fly.

No, you don’t need to create a mission in the GoDrone app to fly your drone in the Netherlands. However, you must follow Dutch regulations, including registering your drone, obtaining the necessary licenses, and adhering to local flight restrictions.
