Do propeller guards on DJI drones mess with flying?

Thinking about getting prop guards for my Mini 4 Pro. Do they change how it flies or handles? Are they worth it?

Prop guards add weight, so they’ll affect flight a little. Depending on what you’re protecting the props from, the guards might actually get stuck, like on tree branches, for example.

Yeah, they do. And if you put guards on, the obstacle avoidance system won’t work anymore.

One big thing is they’ll push the weight over 250g, and depending on your location, that changes the rules for flying it.

That rule is so frustrating. If a sub-250g drone gets safer because you add guards or strobes, it shouldn’t make you follow the over-250g regulations.
