Does DJI MINI 4 Pro with standard batteries need FAA registration?
No. As long as you only fly recreationally.

Recreational flyers still need registration.

Only if it’s over 250 grams, which the Mini 4 Pro with standard batteries is not.

You still need the TRUST certificate, but no registration is necessary for the drone itself.

>All drones must be registered, except those that weigh less than 250 grams and are flown under the Exception for Limited Recreational Operations.
>The Exception for Limited Recreational Operations registration costs $5, covers all drones, and is valid for 3 years.
Even with a sub-250 gram drone, as a pilot, you still need to be registered.

Registering the drone requires you to comply with remote ID, which is why many get a sub-250g drone to avoid both registration and RID.

The page you copied literally says drones under 250 grams don’t need registration. All you need is the TRUST certificate for recreational flying.
