Waited three weeks for this to arrive. Started the return process right away, but Amazon says the seller has up to five days to send a return label. This is the first time I’ve done a return with Amazon and not gotten the label instantly. I took pictures of the box and packaging just in case. The whole thing only weighed 8oz, so I’m guessing the seller is trying to scam.
I went ahead and placed a new order with B&H — probably should’ve just done that in the first place.

Lol that looks like a fake DJI Mini 1. At least they could’ve sent a real Mini 1 if they were gonna scam.

Was this from that $1099 listing for the Air 3S on Amazon? I almost bought one a few weeks ago. I checked recently and it’s not listed anymore. Pretty sure that seller wasn’t Amazon either, so I didn’t trust it.

This one was $1199. I swear it showed ‘shipped by Amazon’ at checkout. Lesson learned — always double check the seller profile. After this happened, I looked them up and saw other people had the same experience.
Quick heads-up: there’s a $1299 listing now from the same seller. They’ve got 8 reviews and 7 are one star. No idea how Amazon allows this to go on.
I think a bunch of people are getting ripped off on Amazon right now when it comes to drone gear. It’s easy money for scammers since folks are desperate to buy DJI stuff. Most listings say ‘in stock’ but it’s fake or junk.
I’ve seen a bunch of fake DJI batteries too. At this point, I won’t buy anything unless I can call and confirm the seller actually has it.

Good luck with B&H. I’ve seen some models actually listed as in stock there. Just keep in mind some drones aren’t made for the US market, and DJI isn’t officially selling here right now. That means you might not get DJI Care Refresh.
I couldn’t get it for my Mavic 4 Pro either. DJI never officially launched it here, so even the basic warranty only covers factory issues, not crashes. I heard they’re handling repairs through Canada and stuff is getting held up at customs a lot.

This is exactly why I never buy unless it says shipped by Amazon or DJI directly.
