Flying through Boston with the M4P… tips?

I’m just getting started with the M4P and there’s still so much I need to figure out. If anyone has suggestions or favorite settings for shooting outdoor landscapes, I’d really appreciate it.

Also, has anyone tried the latest version of Adobe Camera Raw (17.3.1)? Curious what others think of it.

Don’t mind me. I’m just training my meme skills

@Sky
Yeah, it’s about to get pretty confusing with all these M4P names flying around… lol

@Sky
Mini 4 Pro came out first, just sayin.

@Sky
Met someone the other day who said they had the M4 Pro, and I got all excited thinking it was the big one. I probably looked so disappointed when he said it was just the Mini.

Yeah this is the Mavic 4 Pro haha. I should’ve made that clear—I totally forgot about the Mini!

Ohhh got it, it’s the Mavic 4 Pro and not the Mini 4 Pro :joy: enjoy flying it, that thing is a beast! :+1:

Was it hard to get clearance to fly that drone? I’ve always assumed Boston was basically off-limits.

Hope you enjoy that fine you might be getting.

You mean his fine photos, good sir!

Awesome picture. But it looks like you’re 800–1000 feet up and in class B airspace. How’d you get approval for that?

Let’s be honest, most people don’t bother. Getting proper approval in a big city is like trying to pass a bill in Congress. And no one enforces it anyway.

Just a heads up—try to keep it under 400 feet.

$100 says this was illegal with no drone zone clearance.

Actually Boston has a 150 ft limit.

Logan ATC is surprisingly cooperative. We’ve got stockpiles near runway 33, and I’ve gotten clearance up to 250 feet no problem. I usually stay around 150–200 just to be safe, especially with those planes flying so low. The noise also makes it hard to hear medflights coming, and that freaks me out more than anything.

Buddy, I think the comment section’s about to roast you.

Haha it’s all good!

I’d bet money there’s a nice fat fine heading your way.
