Not in Japan.
Isn’t it considered a toy under 249 grams? I thought that meant you could fly it anywhere.
Most countries still have flight rules regardless of the drone’s weight. Sub-250g means fewer restrictions, but not none.
In Japan, the limit is under 100 grams.
I’m backpacking around the world and just got to Japan. Japan’s rules are super strict—only Qatar is worse because they outright ban drones. Bummer I can’t use my Neo or Mini 4 Pro here.
It’s a shame you didn’t try to fly through all those gaps! That tunnel looks perfect for it!
I did fly through them! Just couldn’t fit it all in one video. I’ll upload more footage soon.
Awesome, looking forward to it!
Just don’t expect much, I’m still learning manual mode. The footage will be good to compare in a few months after a lot of practice (and probably crashes).
The video quality seems pretty bad for a drone that’s mainly a camera drone.
It would be great if the Neo was compatible with the Goggles 2 and FPV 2 Controller.
The Neo really needs a proper portrait/vertical mode instead of just cropping the image.
If you want that, go for the Air 3 or Pro. The Neo would need a separate camera for that, and at $200, you can’t expect high-end hardware.
Why do you even need vertical mode?
