Why is the video so jittery?
The video looks jittery because it’s sped up. The Neo doesn’t actually fly that fast.
It can hit 50 km/h if you angle the camera to 50 or 60 degrees in the right mode.
Have you tried manual mode? Mine goes faster with the Goggles 3 and RC3.
No way it’s going that fast. I have a Neo and it doesn’t move like that.
If you’re not using the RC3, that could be why. Flying in manual mode unlocks the full speed. Any other mode limits the drone’s speed because of the max angle for horizontal flight and the active sensors. With the FPV RC3, you can push it to go much faster.
I was flying at around 55 km/h for that video, and yeah, it can go a bit faster in manual mode.
That makes sense. The specs say 16 m/s in manual mode, which is about 58 km/h. It’s half that speed in sport mode.

DJI should really give us full sensor and gyro data.
Don’t they already provide that with the Neo? I know they do with the Avata.
Yeah, they do. You can use GyroFlow with it.
Throw that into GyroFlow and ditch the motion controller. Learning acro will make it smoother.
I’ve been using GyroFlow, and I’m learning manual mode with the simulator.

Neo doesn’t handle wind well, but the RC N3 in ‘speed mode’ does help it go faster. Though, you’ll get jittery movements and more corrections.
