I picked up a DJI Neo Fly More Combo 10 days ago just for fun and fell in love with it. Today, I decided to take things further and got myself a Mini 4 Pro with the RC2 controller. Since the RC2 works with both drones, is there any point in keeping the RC-N3 controller, or should I sell it?
The RC2 is solid. I’ve been using it with both my Neo and Air 3S.
Wait till you try flying the Neo in manual mode! The FPV side of things is a whole other level of fun.

I’ve heard it can almost do full acro. Is that true?

It’s pretty good for cruising, but DJI drones are a bit heavy and underpowered for true acro. Still, it’s a blast. I’ve got the Avata 2 and some tiny whoops as well. They’re all fun in their own way.
I’ve got both too. The RC-N3 is great if you like using bigger screens like tablets.
Sell it… to me… for $1!

How about $60?

Wait… seriously? $60 for the Neo?
Oh, no! I meant the RC-N3 controller, not the drone.
@Toby
Ah, got it! I misread that.
Same here! I started with the Mini 4 Pro about two weeks ago and just ordered the Neo yesterday. I’m using them mostly for work. I figure the Neo, being smaller and more protected, will be great for navigating tight spaces indoors. I’ve been eyeing the Air 3S and the Mavic Pro too, but I don’t want to deal with all the FAA stuff. Glad I’m not the only one catching the drone bug!
@Ridge
The Neo followed me around while we were working on a roof today. It’s so easy to use, but I wanted something a bit bigger and better. My boss has an Air 3S, which is awesome, but out of my price range. The Mini 4 Pro feels like a great middle ground.
If I were you, I’d sell the RC-N3. You probably won’t need it anymore. Congrats on the Mini 4 Pro!
