So, I’ve been hearing a lot about these new home security drones that can fly around and monitor your property. Sounds like something out of a sci-fi movie, right? But I’m wondering, do they actually get the job done? If anyone’s using one, how do they stack up against traditional cameras?
It would be much cheaper and easier to just place cameras at regular intervals around the area. You would also have much more coverage (time-wise) than a drone, because they could be always on and wouldn’t have to fly back home to recharge. Most cameras also have motion detectors that send email/text notifications when something is detected.
The Wyze cam outdoor is a cheap battery-operated camera that you can just place anywhere without running wires or anything.
Home security drones can be worth it for enhanced surveillance and real-time monitoring. They offer aerial views and can patrol your property autonomously.
