How can I record audio during a drone flight…?

My drone has a voice command feature that I can turn on and off. What I want to know is if turning it on will also let me record audio from the drone and my voice. I’m thinking of using earbuds for a voiceover during flight videos, explaining where I’m flying it to. Does this make sense? For context, I’m using the TenssenX Pro 4K GPS drone. If anyone has tips or tricks on using it and editing videos, that would be great too!

Does this question make sense? Not really. Let’s break it down:

  • What exactly do you want to do?
  • What voice-activated features does your drone have?
  • Are you worried that your voiceover might trigger the drone’s commands?

I’m asking about the audio recording part. No need to be rude; it’s a genuine question.

Not trying to be rude, but your question is hard to understand.

I’m trying to figure out how to record audio during the flight. Does that make more sense?

Okay, making progress. Do you mean recording audio from the drone itself or from the ground as part of the drone footage?

Honestly, either one or both would work.

Recording audio directly from the drone will mostly capture propeller noise. For external audio synced with the video, some drones allow it, but for others, it’s easier to use a phone or an audio recorder and sync everything during editing.

I don’t see how the voice command feature helps with this, though.
