How does FAA regulate drones?

What rules does the FAA enforce on drones? Are these the same for recreational and commercial pilots?

All drones over 250 grams must be registered. Recreational pilots need a TRUST certificate, while commercial operators require Part 107 certification.

How does registration work?

@Lian
You can register through the FAA’s Drone Zone website. It costs $5 per drone for commercial use or $5 per fleet for recreational use.

It’s also important to mark your drone with its registration ID and follow airspace rules. Flying in controlled airspace without clearance is prohibited.
