I can’t find clear info on this anywhere. Does anyone know?
It’s hard to say because overheating depends on more than just the camera. Things like outside temperature, sunlight, where the camera is, and air flow all matter.
For example, I use my OA5Pro fishing and hiking in 4K/60, and it never shut down from overheating even when it was up to 105°F. I usually keep it shaded or moving so it doesn’t get too hot.
I don’t know exactly, but my Action 4 never overheated no matter the temperature.
Aren’t there YouTube reviews testing this? You could watch some videos to see.
I was recording on my jeep dash in the woods and it lasted about an hour before showing the overheat warning.
