FYI, that’s lighter than a football.
Footballs can be dangerous. Lots of people get hurt playing football, but it seems like fewer people get hurt flying drones.
I don’t think so.

How could it be simple? I keep reading in these forums about all the chaos that can happen if a drone is flown too far away. The number of ways people could get killed is huge. Multiply that by a million drones sold every year, and there’s got to be a pretty high mortality rate. I’d guess it’s as bad as handguns.
@Briar
The drone community just seems like a bunch of uptight people who can’t enjoy the hobby.

Do you think that’s the whole community? Or just a small group of people who wait for someone to post about flying a drone more than 100 feet away?
@Briar
It’s fair to say that might be a factor. Let’s assume 20% of drone deaths come from that, and that they’re all under 250g. So, that leaves us with maybe 0.2 deaths from sub-250g drones, even though millions are sold.
I just don’t get why the government allows these dangerous items to be so widely available.
