Thinking about holding off on some drone gear until Black Friday, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the wait. Do you guys think the discounts will be good, or should I just go ahead and buy now? Looking at the Air 3, Avata 2, and maybe some accessories. What are your thoughts?
You’ll be lucky if you save a dollar, honestly.
You might see around $50 off on the Avata 2, but that’s about it.

Yeah, I was thinking the same. The Air 3S is brand new, so don’t expect any sales on that just yet.
I doubt the Air 3 will be on sale for Black Friday. You’re better off checking Amazon or other retailers because DJI rarely has big sales on their site.

Even if you look elsewhere, retailers usually follow DJI’s lead with discounts. They don’t tend to cut prices on newer models. You might see deals on the original Air 3 or Avata 1, though.
@Pierce
Yeah, Avata 2 might have a small discount, but don’t expect much since it’s still the latest model.
@Pierce
The Air 3 bundle was down to around $1200 during Prime Day from $1500, so you could see a similar deal again.
The best way to save money is to not buy anything. Problem solved!
You probably won’t save anything.
Zero savings, most likely.
I wouldn’t expect any discounts.
I thought about getting the Osmo 5 on Black Friday, but it just came out, so there’s almost no chance of it being on sale.
Some places, like Amazon UK, already have small discounts on the Avata 2 (about 7% off). If you’re in Europe, shop around. As for the Air 3S, I wouldn’t count on any discounts since it’s too new, but the regular Air 3 might get some deals.
Why would they discount the latest models? Doesn’t make sense.
Based on my experience, you might get a few euros worth of DJI credits, but don’t expect much.
You’re better off just buying now and not worrying about Black Friday. The savings probably won’t be worth the wait.
Maybe $100, if you’re lucky.
I’d say you could save anywhere from $50 to $100 at the most.
You could save around $20 if you buy a third-party 65W charger instead of DJI’s.
