Well how’s things I’m from Ireland and I recently bought a second-hand Mavic Pro. Can I get some sort of insurance on it?

There is a process for fairly new model drones but you’ll have to contact DJI and ask them. They probably won’t be interested in covering older models.

I just had the same issue here (Canada). Bought a Mini 3 Pro used. Contacted DJI. It was not eligible for DJI care as it wasn’t renewed in 2023. So if I ended up crashing it, I would be laying out of pocket for repairs.

The general rule for used equipment is the drone must qualify when you send a video verification and that drone had never had insurance before meaning one time per drone if care refresh is still available.

Okay, this drone is free of any scratches or dents and was kept in storage for years as the previous owner didn’t fly it much.
