Yeah, be careful! I tried to hand-catch my Mini 2 once, but a gust of wind pulled it out of reach. I grabbed it mid-air and, well… not doing that again.

I saw so many videos mentioning landing pads but figured ‘Hey, I’ve got hands for that!’ A landing pad doesn’t really help since it’s stuff in the air that could get sucked into the drone, not from the ground.

I’ll hand-catch my Mini 4 Pro, but I’d rather use a pad for my Air 3—it’s big enough to hurt. At the beach, I always use a landing pad to keep sand out of the motors.

Add that to the long list of things I need to charge! Between my transmitter, goggles, phone, and all the batteries for my quads… I’m probably missing something!
