Is DJI Care worth it for the Mavic 3 Pro?

Hey folks, I got a Mavic 3 Pro last week as a gift after a solid business deal. I’ve flown before — had a Phantom 4 Advanced (sold a while ago) and still fly an Avata Gen 1. I have DJI Care on the Avata and it’s already come in handy after a few crashes in manual mode.

Now I’m wondering if it makes sense to get DJI Care for the Mavic 3 Pro too. I usually just fly on weekends, mostly taking photos of ships at anchor. Since this drone is more for photography and I don’t fly too aggressively, do you think DJI Care is still worth it?

Yes. Always worth it. DJI Care is the fastest and easiest way to get a drone fixed.

Absolutely YES! :raised_hands:t2:

Definitely. It’s just like having car insurance — you hope you won’t need it, but when you do, you’ll be glad you have it.

Quick question for everyone — has anyone used DJI Care recently with all the global shipping delays and trade tensions? Just wondering if they’re still as responsive. Do they have parts stocked locally or is it all from China? How long did it take to get a replacement if your drone flew off?

@Hollis
Yeah, I’ve used it recently. Shipped mine in and got it back in about a week and a half — and that included a holiday, too. No issues at all.

Simple way to decide: are you okay with paying out of pocket if something goes wrong, or would you rather be covered just in case? Only you can answer that one.

No need to be snarky, man. They’re just asking for advice.

@Sparrow
Yeah, chill. Not everyone’s got it all figured out.
