I had some issues with connecting DJI assistant 2 and my 03 air unit, and for a while I thought it was something wrong with the VTX. It ended up being an issue with the Windows computer and Assistant, but this guy from DJI customer support decided to just give me a free 128GB SD card.
I wasn’t expecting to get customer service like this from a large china based corporation, and I’m pleasantly surprised. Anyone else have experiences like this with DJI?

I found a lost drone a while back. Contacted DJI and they were super helpful to connect me with the owner. I got it back to them within days.
Good work DJI.
And and you did a good thing trying to find the owner. Sadly it seems we don’t have enough good people , we have few actually good people and it more 'good people ’ who forget their good the moment they can make a quick buck from someone else’s property.
@Colby
Thanks. I’ve had help rescuing a drone of my own from a high rooftop on a public building so I know how it feels to almost lose one.
Main thing is that DJI was more than happy to help, and it’s a good reason to register your drone properly with them.
That’s the usual overly polite language you get from customer service in Asia.
They do tend to give out memory cards or 30€ coupons when you spend two months back and forth with them trying to have them understand that their product was released with a critical flaw…(They issued a firmware fix for the L2 from my report, still waiting for the P1 fix).
Legitimately impressive customer support - when I saw I was shipping my drone to China for repair (DJI data update error or something), I figure it would be 2-3 months before I’d see it, but it couldn’t have been more than 2-3 weeks full turnaround
Theyre amazing, even called me to ask if my replacement arrived okay and if everything is in order now, then afterwards i got one single email to give feedback on my experience. In my opinion, this is the best way to do it.
They just surprised me (after pissing me off). I sent in the wired control module handle for the RS series gimbals. ($500ish new) said it was $500 ish to fix. It was just the joystick. ($12 part). I was pissed. Respectful but pissed. Had em send it back. A month later they said they would send me a new one for $30!
