I am a wedding photographer who primarily works on the beach, and I’m looking to buy a drone for capturing photos and videos at weddings, as well as for personal travel. However, I’m new to drones.
I have only owned one drone, a DJI Mini SE, which I crashed into some trees. I managed to fly it about 10 times before the crash, so I’m uncertain about investing in a more expensive model. A friend mentioned that the crash might have been partly due to my old drone lacking proximity sensors, while the Mavic offers more advanced features, making it a better choice for professional use.
On one hand, spending a significant amount on a high-end drone makes me anxious, especially after my previous drone mishap. I’m concerned that I might not be ready for such a high-quality model, even though I can afford it and it’s important for my photography business.
