If it is whats the best alternative for used drones.
eBay’s fine as long as the seller has feedback. I wouldn’t risk anything pricey from someone with no ratings at all.
Looks like one of those too-good-to-be-true listings, especially with 0 feedback. But yeah, eBay’s buyer protection usually has your back if anything goes wrong.
I got mine from a seller named LittleBigFinds. They seem to deal mostly in drones and accessories, so you might want to check them out.

Mind sharing what kind of drone you got from them?
Not a bad idea if the seller has good ratings. But this particular one? I’d be cautious for sure.
eBay is solid overall, but that specific seller having 0 feedback is a red flag. Could be a great deal, or it could be a total dud. Probably just someone selling a personal drone and not running an actual store.
If that’s the case, OfferUp or Facebook Marketplace might be better options—ONLY if you can check the drone in person. Always ask to turn it on, test it, and see if the app picks up any errors like motor or controller issues.
@Taran
That one looks way more legit. Much safer seller from what I can tell.

Awesome! Do you think I should buy the full bundle or just the drone and get a controller with a built-in screen later? I’ve heard that screen makes it easier but curious what you’d recommend.
@Taran
Depends on what feels better for you.
Personally, I’d go for the regular controller without the screen. It’s cheaper, and you can just use any spare phone. If something breaks, replacing a phone is way cheaper than replacing that smart controller.
The basic controller is a tough little brick—it’ll hold up well. The screen might be slightly more convenient, but aside from not needing a USB cable, there’s not much else it adds.
@Blake
Perfect, thank you so much!
That deal screams scam—no feedback and probably a brand-new profile created this year. Honestly, if someone falls for that, they weren’t paying attention.
If you stick to reputable sellers though, you’ll be fine. I just got a Mini 3 Pro from one and everything was smooth. Just make sure to check their ratings and history.
