Is store.dji.com actually safe? Anyone had issues?

Hey everyone,

I found that store.dji.com has the lowest prices compared to other retailers, but I’ve read some mixed things about it online. Some say it’s a scam, and others say it’s totally fine. So, is it legit? And if it is, why would anyone buy from anywhere else if their prices are way cheaper? Thanks in advance!

Edit: Just to update everyone, thanks for all the replies. It turns out it’s actually legit, and I had my region set to the wrong country. The prices were still shown in my currency, which is why I didn’t notice it at first.

Yep, that’s DJI’s official store. They can probably offer lower prices because it’s direct from them and there’s no middleman taking a cut. I’ve bought from there a couple of times with no issues.

Edit: In my country, DJI usually sells at 5-7% cheaper than other shops, which isn’t enough of a difference to seem suspicious to me.

@Leith
Wish that was the case in the US! Here, the prices are the same everywhere.

I just ordered a DJI Air3s from there last week. Just a heads-up: When you buy directly from China, you might be responsible for import taxes or tariffs that your country applies. Sometimes, your order can get held up in customs until you pay those taxes, so be prepared for that.

It’s definitely legit. I got my Mini 4K from there recently. My only problem was that the estimated shipping time said a month, but it ended up shipping in a week, and I received it three days after that. I was pretty impressed since it came all the way from China.

Yeah, dji.com is the main website, and store.dji.com is just part of it.

There’s no way scammers can afford three-letter .com domains. Those are ridiculously expensive, often costing millions. Pretty much all of them have been owned since the mid-90s. In the late 90s, people tried setting up bots to grab expiring ones, but it was like hitting the jackpot.

Sometimes I wonder how some people even manage to get online…

That’s not cool. If someone’s unsure, it’s way better they ask than assume they know and get scammed. I’d rather they ask questions than keep quiet because they’re worried about looking dumb.

@Indigo
Weren’t you the one defending people who asked if they needed to wipe every time they poop?
