Is there a drone that can spray water?

I’m looking for a drone that can squirt water to clean moss and mold off my roof. The roof is very high and hard to access, so using a ladder isn’t an option, and scaffolding is too expensive.

I’ve searched online but can’t find anything suitable. Agricultural drones are too big and costly for my needs, and gel blaster toys aren’t useful since I need to spray liquid, not gels. I only need it to carry about 150ml of liquid and have a flight time of 5 minutes.

I don’t have the technical skills to build something myself. Does a drone like this exist, or is there a business that can modify one for me?

Thanks in advance!

Have you thought about using water balloons? You could attach a launcher to a drone or simply drop them from it.

That’s actually a pretty good idea.

Is there a drone that can do this? What should I search for?

There are drones that can do this, but they’re in the agricultural drone category, which means they’re very expensive. Someone in this community mentioned they won’t even bring their drone out for less than $1,000.

@Mali
Do you mean they’ll build me a drone for $1,000, or that they’d charge $1,000 to do the job with their own drone?

I meant they’d charge $1,000 to bring their drone and do the job.

You could look into attachments made for drones like the Mavic series. Some users have rigged drop-release mechanisms to carry small loads. However, spraying water directly would typically require something on the level of an Agras drone, which can get very expensive.

You might spend less on making your roof more accessible than trying to find a drone that can do this for you.

Why not rent a boom lift? Check out models like the T350, which can reach high places safely.

An articulated boom lift might work well if your roof is that difficult to access. Adding a water cannon or sprayer could make it a straightforward job.

@Hadi
Boom lift plus a super soaker. Problem solved.

Moss and mold typically require a power washer to remove effectively. If you go the boom lift route, make sure to spray downward to avoid water getting under shingles.
