Hey everyone, I need some help here. I was browsing Facebook Marketplace and found this drone listed. It says it’s a Mavic 3 Cine, but as far as I know, DJI doesn’t have that in their lineup. I could be wrong, though. What do you guys think?
It’s not fake. I had the exact drone before upgrading to the Mavic 3 Pro. The labeling looks correct. Personally, I think the Pro is better unless you specifically need Apple ProRes or the 1TB internal SSD. Those ProRes files are huge. Also, the zoom cameras are way better on the M3 Pro.
@Frey
Just to clarify, the Mavic 3/Cine and Mavic 3 Pro/Pro Cine share the same main 4/3 and 7x zoom cameras. The difference is that the Pro versions add a third camera with a 70mm zoom, and the Pro Cine can record ProRes on all three cameras, while the older Cine can only do ProRes on the 4/3 main camera.
@Mica
Actually, the Pro has better tech on the telephoto camera. It supports 4K 60fps and has a lower aperture. The difference is noticeable.

You’re right about the aperture—f3.4 vs f4.4 is a nice improvement. The 4K 60fps is just a firmware update, though. The hardware itself is the same.
DJI does make the Mavic 3 Cine. Looks legit to me.

It has a 1TB SSD and supports Apple ProRes 422HQ, so everything checks out.
I have the standard Mavic 3, and this one looks legit to me.
Nope, it’s definitely not fake.

It has a 1TB SSD inside!
How much are they asking for it?
Nope, not fake.
I have the exact same drone sitting right here.
Looks real to me. Found a few from legit sellers online. This one seems darker, but it could just be the lighting.
It’s not fake. This is the Mavic 3 Cine. DJI has two drones that support Apple ProRes:
- Mavic 3 Cine
- Mavic 3 Pro Cine
The main advantage is ProRes and the 1TB internal storage. But the internal SSD can be a drawback since you can’t just swap SD cards—you have to transfer files directly from the drone. The Cine also works with RC Pro remotes, which limits compatibility a bit.
@Ashton
Actually, the Cine does have an SD card slot. ProRes just needs faster write speeds, so it uses the SSD. For other formats, you can use an SD card. Also, the Cine isn’t limited to the RC Pro. It works with the RC, RC-N1, and RC Pro remotes.
