I just bought my first drone! It’s a Dji mini 3 pro that I got second hand without any flight time and miles for an amazing price! I’m really looking forward to flying it and capturing some awesome footage.
Congrats! I got my first drone which was also a mini 3 pro after my friends showed me their mini 2 and air 2.
My collection has grown since then with different models like avata, mavic 3, and some fpv. I flew the mini 3 the most since it’s my go-to travel drone. I’ve taken it to 6 countries so far, and even after 3 years, the photo and video quality still impresses me for such a small drone.
@Han
Does it fly with you?

That’s awesome! I hope this one treats me well. I really couldn’t find anything better for the price. I’m sure it’ll meet all my needs and more.
Congrats! The Mini 3 Pro is a fantastic drone and offers great value these days.
I’ve noticed that the RC controller is selling for as low as $500 second hand, which is an amazing deal compared to the mini 4 pro, especially since they share many of the same tracking features.
It does miss some object avoidance sensors and a few tracking abilities found in the M4P, but honestly, it still gives you about 90% of what you need, and with the RC controller included, it’s almost half the price of the M4P with the RC2 controller.
It’s definitely priced well right now.
Nice.
Niiiice! Wishing you safe flying.
Could you share how much you paid? That drone looks great!
I still have my Mini 3 Pro! It’s working great. I’m thinking about upgrading to the mini 5 pro!
Nice bird! I’m sure you’ll have a blast flying it.
How did you check that it never crashed before?

There wasn’t even a scratch on it. It looks like it was only used a few times indoors and then stored away.
That’s such a great choice for your first drone.

I really hope it is! Haha.
Congrats! The DJI Mini 3 Pro was my first drone too! I hope you have a lot of fun with it!
Congratulations! Enjoy your flying! If you can, get insurance for it.

Is insurance something you have to pay for monthly or is it just a one-time fee?

It’s a one-time fee, and after a year, the insurance expires. You can pay to extend it for another year. DJI usually sends an email about that.

How do you go about getting insurance for a drone?

You can do it through their website or during the initial setup process of the drone, there should be an option to get insurance.
