So glad to finally join this hobby. I wanted the RC2 controller but at least I have a 90 day return option if those awesome bundles come back.

My first drone ended up in the ocean off North Carolina. At least with trees, you have a shot!

Another victim of the ocean here. Mine is lost off the coast of Komodo Island, taken out by a sea eagle. I managed to get it back, but it was toast.
That was with the mini 3 pro. Just last week I got the mini 4 pro on sale, and I’m definitely going to be more careful this time.

Not a drone, but back in the 2000s I got a nice RC helicopter for Christmas. Opened it up, fixed it together, and it was stuck on top of the highest tree in about 20 seconds, never to be retrieved. I can relate to the tree comment lol

No phone, and it’s up to you if you like having the controller below the sticks. I remember the RC2 has slightly less range.

Costco for the drone and Amazon for the controller is what I did.
Registered mine this week with the battery plus and the triple charger.
