I’ve got a 256GB SanDisk Extreme Plus that’s U3, A2, V30. Wondering if upgrading to a V90 card will actually improve footage quality from the Mini 4 Pro shooting 10bit D-Log, or if it just makes transfers to my computer faster. Can’t find much info online. Thanks!
You won’t get better footage if your card is already fast enough. If you put in a card that’s too slow, the drone will warn you.

Cool, that answers my question, thanks!
No difference in footage quality. If the card is too slow you’ll get a warning, otherwise you’re good.

Just curious — do you know if there’s any difference in read/write speeds once you’re over the minimum? I use some mid-range cards I had from my camera. I guess write speed might help with things like panoramas, but not sure beyond that.
Just stick with the recommended card type, no need to overthink it.
Haha, sounds like those gold plated HDMI cables… supposed to give a better picture or something!
The speed of saving data is limited by the drone’s bus, so V30 cards are plenty fast. Check the manual or DJI website for the official recommendations.
