Looking for a Small Travel Drone... Is DJI Neo Good?

Hi there!

I’m searching for a very small and easy-to-use drone that is fun to fly and can fit in my backpack.

I have a sailing trip planned in the BVIs in two months, and I’d love to take a drone along for some pictures.

Is the DJI Neo a good choice?

I would go for the DJI Flip. Just keep in mind that if you fly it in windy areas, you might notice some jitter in the camera.

I agree, the Flip is a great option. I got it for traveling, and it has worked wonders for quick and easy shots. The camera quality is impressive, and you can grab a quick shot from your palm in just 30 seconds. Just make sure to watch for strong winds and any obstacles, and you’ll be good.

Unfortunately, the camera quality isn’t great. It’s unfortunate because other than that, it’s a solid drone.

I would suggest the DJI Flip for traveling. It’s the only other drone I’ve seen that doesn’t require a controller.

@Frances
I agree with that. Flip seems perfect for your needs. The Mini 4 Pro is a step up but the Flip fits what you’re looking for.
