So, I recently upgraded from the Mini 3 Pro to the Mini 4 Pro. When I import my raw files into Lightroom Classic, I noticed it now fully supports color profiles, which is a big improvement compared to the Mini 3, which only had the basic ‘color’ profile—pretty bad. Now, the profile for my Raws defaults to ‘embedded,’ and it gives way better colors than any of the other Adobe profiles. But, the issue is, I can’t find the embedded profile in the profile browser, and if I do anything to the files, like an HDR merge, the option disappears, leaving only the Adobe Color or Landscape profiles. It’s a bit of a shame since the color from the embedded profile looks so good! Does anyone know what’s going on with this? I really want to be able to access that embedded profile all the time.
Cool pic though

If you ask this on the DJI sub, you might get a more direct response from DJI themselves.

That’s a good idea. I’ll post there too, thanks!
I have the Mavic 3, but I also use a color checker card from X Rite for my DSLR. It lets you create a custom Lightroom profile after you take a photo of the card. I randomly tried it with my drone photos, and the profile it made was amazing! It looks much better than even the embedded profile. If you want, it’s worth a try if you’ve got a little extra cash.
@Foster
Yeah, I’ve got a color checker too. There’s definitely room for improvement in color accuracy. I’m still very interested in the embedded profile though, since it gives such a nice result.
