Hello everyone,
Does anyone have experiences with the wear and tear just from flying distance? (no crashes, no obstacles – just clean flying) I have about 120 kilometers / 75 miles with mine and wonder what the abrasion might be. I have no clue what could be a lot and what is close to nothing. Anyone had broken parts after a certain mileage? Any typical issues or parts that tend to break?
I’d also be interested in how much distance everyone else has on the clock.

WHOA! Admittedly, I’m totally new to this and just got my Mini 4 Pro a week and a half ago. I’ve been out three times now, flying for about an hour each time. But still, that’s a hell of a lot of miles! Wow.
Propellers should be changed every 50 or so hours of flight time or every 200 flights. Change them sooner if you’re in a high-UV area.
What’s your flight time in hours?

Why change the props if they’re still good? For example, in winter they stay in good condition. I clean mine with lens cleaner, works fine for me, even in summer.

I disagree, but to each their own. I say don’t change them unless they’re damaged.
I have over 300 km on my Mini 4 Pro. The only issues were a broken gimbal shock mount and props due to hitting a tree branch.
I also have an older Mini 1, also with about 300 km and about 4 years of use. It’s been underwater and hit a few trees, still flies fine, but the battery that got wet is dead. There are noticeable rust spots on the motor bell housings, but I live near the ocean (and fly above the surf a lot), so everything rusts here. I imagine the motor bearings will go bad eventually, but they haven’t yet, even after spending a few minutes at the bottom of a freshwater stream. Saltwater is a different story—it’s a lot tougher on electronics and bearings. I did have to replace the gimbal flexible connector; it fatigued and broke around year 3.
