I live in Iceland, actually 11 km away from sundhnjúkagígar eruptions, I’m always one of the first on the spot!

Man, it really pays to be in such spots, huh? You know, the US has all the boimes known to man, but they are just hundreds of miles away. I’ve sold 4 photo prints about some months ago, and it got me a good payout, but it’s hard getting something worth framing in a place where beautiful views are hundreds of miles away, lol.

Might have to check local regulations there first.
We were there a couple of years ago and my mind is still blown from the scenery. Spectacular doesn’t begin to cover it.
OP What’s the best one from airport? I have a layover in a few months and wouldn’t mind trying to extend it out slightly in order to see one of these.

Definitely the Reykjanes peninsula! You can see so many beautiful places, often overlooked by travelers. If you got the time, Hvalfjörður is also amazing, specially Glymur waterfall, hope that helps!
