After updating to the latest firmware, you can access the new bitrate options by swiping down and clicking on settings. I tested it, and the bitrate is definitely higher.

Yeah, I was also getting about 75Mbps before.

I haven’t experienced any overheating, but I’m using it on a motorcycle. No major change in battery life, though the SD card fills up faster. I’ll share more videos soon.

Honestly, I didn’t notice any quality issues at the lower bitrate. Do you think using the higher bitrate is beneficial for slow movements, like handheld or walking?
This is great news! I was already satisfied with the camera, but this update can only make it better.
For reference, my 256GB card at 4K25/30 records about 9 hours on standard and 5 hours on high bitrate. That should give you an idea of the file sizes.
